Resort Regulations

Regulations of the Zielone Tarasy Holiday Resort at Barcie 13.

  1. 1.

The tourist facility "Zielone Tarasy" at Barcie 13 provides individual tourists and organised tourist groups (hereinafter referred to as Guests) with short-term rental services for the cottages located on the Resort premises, in accordance with the price list currently in effect at the Resort. Detailed information about the Resort, the cottages and their furnishings, as well as prices, can be obtained by calling +48 606-973-356 or at the website http://zielonetarasy.com

  2. 2.

A stay on the premises is authorised upon prior preliminary reservation and payment of a deposit confirming that reservation, made in accordance with the following terms: a) the subject of the reservation is the rental of a chosen cottage or cottages on the Resort premises. The minimum rental period is 1 day outside of season; during the season it is 1 week and multiples thereof, starting at 2:00 PM on the day of arrival and ending at 10:00 AM on the day of departure; b) the cottage rental agreement does not require a written form; its conclusion on the terms set out in these Regulations is confirmed by the Guest's payment of a deposit towards the stay; c) each cottage accommodates 5 persons; additional guests may be accepted after prior arrangement with the property owners; d) reservations can be made by telephone at +48 606-973-356 or by email at tady@zielonetarasy.com. During a telephone or email enquiry, the Resort staff will inform the applicant of reservation availability, the total fee for the requested stay period, the deposit amount required to secure the reservation, and the bank account number for the deposit payment; e) a preliminary reservation expires if the deposit is not received in the designated Resort bank account within 3 days; f) the deposit amounts to 30% of the total fee for the period covered by the reservation; the remaining balance is due on the first day of the stay upon collecting the cottage keys; g) the Guest is entitled to cancel the stay by submitting a written statement no later than 21 days before the start of the holiday. If the cancellation statement is submitted within this deadline, 50% of the deposit will be refunded to the bank account specified in the Guest's written statement. The Resort bears no responsibility for consequences arising from the Guest's failure to provide or provision of an incorrect bank account number. If the cancellation is made after this deadline, or not at all, the deposit is non-refundable and shall be forfeited to the Resort; h) failure of the Guest to arrive at the Resort by 8:00 PM on the date of the reservation results in termination of the rental agreement. In such a case, the Resort may freely dispose of the cottage(s) covered by the agreement, and the deposit paid is non-refundable and forfeited. This does not apply if the Guest has notified the Resort of the delay by telephone or email before 8:00 PM, providing the expected arrival time; in this case, however, the fee is charged according to the original reservation; i) with the owner's consent, a stay at the Resort is also permitted without a prior reservation and deposit; in this case, confirmation of the rental agreement is the Guest's payment for the agreed stay.

  3. 3.

Upon arrival at the Resort, Guests are required to check in by completing a registration card, fulfil other formalities related to the stay, and pay the remaining balance (less the deposit) to the owner in a single upfront payment.

  4. 4.

The registration card contains the following information: first and last name, duration of stay, permanent address, one identification number (PESEL/passport/ID card), vehicle registration number and the tourist's signature. In accordance with the GDPR, this data is for the exclusive use of the property owner and serves to protect the facility against vandalism and damage. The personal data obtained is not subject to any processing except by authorised services. The facility does not maintain a database. Documents containing personal data are destroyed at the end of the season.

  5. 5.

Keys are handed over and cottages inspected in the presence of the Resort owner, after the Guest has viewed the cottage and the property and reported any objections.

  6. 6.

Shortening a stay does not entitle the Guest to a refund of fees already paid. Extending the stay beyond the hotel day (10:00 AM) requires the owner's consent and incurs a charge of 10 PLN per hour.

  7. 7.

Each cottage comes with 1 set of keys comprising 1 cottage key, 1 gate key and 1 rowboat key. The pedal boat and kayak keys are kept in the gazebo and must be returned there after each use. A fee of 30 PLN is charged for the loss of any key, or the person who reserved the cottage must purchase and replace the lock.

  8. 8.

Guests are required to promptly report to the Resort owner any defects in the cottages or other problems concerning the Resort's operation that arise during use. Any damage incurred is charged to the Guests of the respective cottage.

  9. 9.

It is forbidden to swap cottages between Guests, to move or relocate furniture, or to exchange dishes and other cottage furnishings.

  10. 10.

  11. 11.

Guests bear liability for all damage caused by the destruction, loss or damage of the cottages and their furnishings, as well as other structural elements on the Resort premises. Guests are required to pay compensation for such damage upon vacating the cottage, as calculated by the Resort owners in accordance with current purchase or repair prices.

  12. 12.

Bringing money and belongings into the cottages and onto the Resort premises does not constitute a storage agreement or any similar contract.

  13. 13.

Guests are required to maintain peace and order in the cottages and throughout the Resort premises, and to not disturb the stay of other Guests. Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

  14. 14.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the cottages. It is also forbidden to light fires in areas not designated for that purpose, to leave an open fire unattended, to use irons, cookers or heating appliances not provided as cottage equipment, or any other devices that may pose a fire hazard.

  15. 15.

Non-guests visiting at the invitation of Guests must leave the Resort by 10:00 PM, and overnight stays by non-guests without the owner's consent are prohibited. Guests who have invited such persons bear full responsibility for them, including their compliance with these Regulations.

  16. 16.

  19. 19.

The Resort permits Guests to park their cars and other vehicles on the premises. Parking at the Resort is free of charge and unsupervised. Guests park their vehicles on the premises without entering into a storage agreement for those vehicles or the belongings and money left inside them, or any similar contract. The Resort is not liable for the loss, destruction or damage of those vehicles or the property left inside them.

  20. 20.

In the event of any comments or complaints regarding the level of services, Resort staff, the cottages and their furnishings, or cleanliness and order on the Resort premises, Guests are kindly asked to contact us by telephone at +48 606-973-356, by email at tady@zielonetarasy.com, or directly with the Resort owner in person.
